BCA Financial Services won't stop calling my job even after I told them to stop
I need to vent and also ask for advice. BCA Financial Services has been calling me nonstop for a debt I don't even recognize. At first it was just annoying, 5 or 6 calls a day. But last week, they started calling my workplace. My manager took a message because the collector asked for me by name. I was so embarrassed.
I specifically told the rep on the phone, "Do not call me at work again. My boss does not allow personal calls." But they called back the very next day. One of their reps also left me a voicemail saying they would "contact my employer to arrange wage garnishment" if I didn't pay immediately. That scared me, but I think that has to be a lie because no one has sued me.
