Finally found a place that actually knows these engines, sharing my experience
After months of putting it off because I was scared of the bill, I finally got the engine rebuilt on my 2008 335i and I just want to share because I know how stressful this search can be. I had a bad experience earlier this year with a garage that promised the world and then returned the car with a new rattle, so I was proper skeptical this time. A neighbor pointed me toward a genuine BMW engine rebuild garage near Shabiya and I figured I'd at least go have a chat before committing. They walked me through the whole process without any pressure and actually showed me the worn parts when I picked it up, which nobody had bothered doing before. The car pulls like it used to and honestly I'm just relieved it's done. If anyone else is sitting on the fence about a rebuild, ask around and visit the place in person first, it made all the difference for me.
