Has Anyone Tried Hiking in a Kilt?
Quote from finch on July 6, 2026, 7:04 amI'm getting ready for a few hiking trips this season and have been looking for clothing that's lightweight, comfortable, and allows plenty of freedom of movement. I recently learned about hiking kilts and they seem like an interesting alternative to traditional hiking pants.
While researching, I found several options for a Hiking Kilt for Men's, but I'd really like to hear from people who have actually used one on the trail. I'm especially interested in how they perform during long hikes, in warm weather, and whether the extra pockets are genuinely useful.
If you've worn a hiking kilt, what features should I prioritize? Are there specific fabrics or designs that hold up well on rugged terrain? Any recommendations or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your advice!
