To export a PST file to MBOX, you need a tool that supports both file formats because Microsoft Outlook does not offer a direct option to convert PST files as MBOX. A professional converter makes the process quick and preserves your mailbox data.

Steps to Convert PST to MBOX

1. Install and launch a PST to MBOX converter, such as MailsDaddy PST Converter.
2. Click Add File and browse to select your PST file.
3. Preview the mailbox items to verify the emails before conversion.
4. Select MBOX as the output format.
5. Choose the destination folder where you want to save the converted MBOX file.
6. Click Export to start the conversion process.

Once the conversion is complete, the MBOX file can be imported into email clients that support the MBOX format, such as Mozilla Thunderbird, Apple Mail, and other compatible applications.

Using a dedicated converter helps preserve email formatting, attachments, folder hierarchy, and metadata, making it the most reliable method for PST to MBOX conversion.
