Looking for proper detailing in Musaffah that won't scratch my paint
I've had my Lexus for about two years now and I've been pretty careful with it, always hand washing and using good quality products, but somehow the paint has still ended up with all these swirl marks and light scratches that drive me crazy every time the sun hits it just right. I think part of the problem is the dusty environment here and maybe using the wrong technique when drying it off, but honestly I'm at the point where I want to get it professionally sorted with a proper polish and ceramic coating to protect it going forward. The thing is I've heard so many mixed stories about detailing places in the area, some guys use cheap compounds that actually make it worse or they rush through the job and leave holograms all over the paint. I've been doing some research and came across a premium car detailing studio in Musaffah Abu Dhabi that seems to take their work seriously with good lighting booths and proper paint depth gauges, but I wanted to see if anyone here has actually been there or knows someone who has because I'm pretty nervous about handing over my car to strangers. I'm particularly concerned about the paint correction stage because I know if they use aggressive pads without measuring the clear coat thickness they could actually burn through it which would be an absolute nightmare. Also does anyone know whether they use a ceramic coating that's actually suited for our climate because I've seen some coatings fail within months in this heat and I don't want to waste my money on something that won't last. Any honest feedback or alternative recommendations would be awesome, I'm willing to pay a bit more for quality work as long as I know they're actually going to treat my car with the care it deserves.
