That sinking feeling when you see a puddle of green fluid under your Jeep

I had one of those moments this morning that just makes your heart drop – I walked out to my 2019 Grand Cherokee and spotted a small puddle of bright green fluid on the driveway right under the front end. I'm pretty sure it's coolant, which means there's a leak somewhere in the cooling system, and with the temperatures we're getting right now, I know I can't afford to ignore it. I've checked the hoses and they seem intact, but I'm worried it could be the water pump or even the radiator itself, which would be a much bigger job. I'm based near the Musaffah industrial area and I'm looking for a workshop that can properly pressure test the system and find the exact source of the leak rather than just guessing and replacing parts. I've read that even a small coolant leak can lead to overheating and serious engine damage if left unchecked, so I want to get it sorted as soon as possible. A colleague mentioned a place that offers Exclusive Jeep Coolant Leak Repair in Musaffah Industrial Area, and he said they were thorough and didn't cut corners on the repair. Has anyone here used them or can recommend another reliable specialist in the area? I really don't want to risk driving the car too much until it's fixed, so any advice would be a huge help.

How many km on the Grand Cherokee, and does the puddle show up only after a drive or also overnight when it’s cold? Also, has the coolant level in the reservoir dropped since you noticed it? That would help people here tell whether it’s a slow weep or something bigger.

Small puddle overnight doesn’t mean it’s safe to drive normally. In this heat a low coolant level can push the temp up fast, especially in traffic. Top up with the correct coolant, not plain water, and keep the trips short until the leak is found and sealed.

Can’t speak for that shop, never used them. One colleague saying they’re thorough isn’t much to go on, so check recent Google reviews and ask them straight whether they pressure test and dye test before quoting. If they jump to parts, I’d go elsewhere.

Had this on my Cherokee last summer. Checked the hoses like you did, all looked fine, but the leak was a cracked plastic fitting at the back of the engine where you can’t see it. Pressure test found it in ten minutes. Don’t let anyone replace the radiator before they’ve proved it’s leaking.

Bright green puddle on a 2019 usually means topped-up or older coolant, and the leak could be anything from a loose clamp to the water pump weep hole. A pressure test with the engine cold finds the source quickly. Keep an eye on the reservoir level until it’s booked in.
